[Hardcider] Mac Mini DVI to HDMI to HDTV?

Also I want to be able to play DVDs.. using a Mac Mini I can do this with
Front Row.. it still kills me that I can't import DVDs directly into iTunes
like I can a CD. I know it is possible with 3rd party software but there is
no way (currently that I know about) to import DVDs to high quality playback
through iTunes.
